(From the Stanstead College yearbook)
There were some ups and downs along the rollercoaster ride that represented the curling team this season. As usual, we started with many new faces during training camp. It took a few weeks for the rookies to grasp this unique sport but it was worthwhile in the end. In addition, SC was fortunate to add an experienced skip in Sophie Legler to take charge of the team and guide younger players. She led by example and showed maturity beyond her years. The team performed as expected in the standings and came from behind to defeat KS in the playoffs to finish with bronze. We built on our successes, learned from our mistakes and, most importantly, had fun!
